Dr. Susan Liddy lectures in the Department of Media and Communications in Mary Immaculate College,University of Limerick.

Her research interests include gender issues in the film script development and production funding process in Ireland; creativity and creative practice; female screenwriters and female ‘voice’; and the representation of older women in screen narratives.  She is currently researching the working lives and narrative interests of Irish female screenwriters.

She is a member of the Equality Action Committee (EAC), representing the combined Writers Guild of Ireland and Screen Directors Guild of Ireland.

Aimée is a PhD candidate and Department Assistant with the Department of Media and Communication Studies, MIC. Her project is entitled Negotiating Gender and Class Identity Through Media Consumption at a Time of Economic ‘Precarity’: a Psychosocial Exploration of Women’s Experiences.

 Jason MurphyJason Murphy
Jason is a Department Assistant with the Department of Media and Communication Studies, MIC, where he is currently pursuing his PhD research in Youth Development through Media Production. In addition, he produces radio documentaries for local and national broadcasters.
